Google has a great deal of difficulty finding this place at the best of times, and your GPS and cell phone completely stop working as you approach this part of Renfrew County. So, please, follow these directions and don’t listen to the seductive voice of your GPS. You will save yourself a great deal of unnecessary aggravation!
From Ottawa:
Highway 417 to Highway 17
Highway 17 to Highway 60
Turn Left onto Highway 60
Highway 60 to Highway 132
Turn Left onto Highway 132
Highway 132 to Highway 41
Turn Left onto Highway 41
Highway 41 to Highway 28
Turn Right onto Highway 28
Highway 28 for 16 km
Just Past Bruceton Road on your Right is Maple Mountain Sound.
If you reach a stop sign, you’ve gone 1 km too far.
From Toronto:
Highway 401 to Highway 115
Highway 115 to Highway 7
Turn Right onto Highway 7
Highway 7 to Highway 28
Highway 28 to Bancroft
Follow Highway 28 through Bancroft and continue
Follow Highway 28 through McArthurs Mills
Continue on Highway 28 for another 16 km
Watch for Hardwood Lake sign
Turn Right to continue on Highway 28
1 km down the hill, Maple Mountain Sound is on your Left.
If you see Bruceton Road, you’ve gone 1 km too far.
